A Parched Soul is authored by Grayson Pope, who is a father, husband, and the Director of Community for Mecklenburg Community Church in Charlotte, NC.
We talk about all kinds of things here, but most of it revolves around calling, purpose and depth. I believe we are all called to something in life. Not one specific thing, per se, but a certain area that utilizes our gifts, talents and experiences. We should pursue that with purpose and intentionality. And finally, we should seek depth in life. In the depth of life we find what we’re all longing for — meaning and purpose.
Grayson Pope is the Director of Community at Mecklenburg Community Church in Charlotte, NC where he has the pleasure of serving with the small groups ministry and overseeing the assimilation process. He is married to a beautiful and wise woman named Maggie, and has a young son (15 months old) named Paxton. Grayson has a degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University and worked in the marketplace as a quality assurance manager for 4 years before he was called into full-time vocational ministry.
“Like dry, hardened soil, I need to let the Word of God gently rain on my parched soul so that I am able to soak in every drop.”
