I’m on a much anticipated vacation this week, so I won’t be posting or tweeting. I’ll be back next week.
I take this time each year to work on my upcoming spiritual year. It’s a time to reflect on the past year and develop goals for the upcoming season of my life and that of my family.
On my vacations, I unplug from work. I still write in the mornings, but I focus on something besides blogging. Big ideas are usually born these weeks.
But more than anything, I use this time do one thing:
Relax.
It’s necessary to work hard and diligently. It’s also necessary to stay focused and disciplined.
But it’s just as necessary to relax and do nothing more than simply ponder the awesomeness, the expansiveness of God.
Sometimes we have to stop thinking to give way to new thoughts.
Anyways, that’s what’s going on with me.
What’s up with you? Hope you have an awesome week.
