Growing Trust

On the radio the other morning there was a story about China’s new growing market for cameras and other surveillance equipment. Apparently there are enough video cameras in China to cover 1 out of every 43 people. Think about that.

The interview was with a guy in the surveillance sales business. The reason for his success of late?

“Distrust is a growth market.”

Hearing that made me feel sad. It also made me think about my own life and search for my purpose.

Am I trusting God, watching Him work, and then growing that trust even more? Or is distrust a growth market in my own life?

Am I trusting that God knows my purpose and is revealing it to me over time, or is distrust growing for the very same reasons?

What about you? Is distrust a growth market in your life?

Leave a comment and let’s talk.

Trusting God has been a real issue in my life, so I’d definitely say that distrust is a growth market in my life.  Hopefully as I seek Him more, my trust in Him will increase.

Trusting in Him is one of those never ending journeys it seems. I know what you mean. But asking yourself the question is a great “calibration.”

It easily can be. When doubts, frustrations, fears, worry, etc creep in, I try to go through the situation through the eyes of Christ. I uses Phil 4:8 to refocus me and help me see the TRUTH through the lies.

I tend to go in seasons. There are some times when I seem so trusting and then other times where fear and anxiety creep in. I think it’s a battle I constantly have to fight.
